General questions

What does coworking mean?

Coworking spaces are used by freelancers, self-employed individuals, digital nomads, and companies as a flexible and cost-effective alternative to a private office. In these typically trendy and state-of-the-art workspaces, you have a fixed or flexible workspace for efficient work and also find support from the community and mutual inspiration. A coworking space is therefore a place for networking and collaboration, where ideas, synergies, and new projects are born. Regular events foster exchange with companies, public institutions, and other stakeholders.

Can I visit a space?

What is the coworking flat rate?

You can book packages tailored to your needs, and we’ll break them down transparently for you. As a CoWorker, you pay a fixed price per month – that’s it. For the ultimate all-inclusive package, choose the CoWorking Resident option. There are also local subsidies available, for example from the cities of Graz and Leoben, which each cover 50% of the costs in the first year (according to the subsidy conditions, as of February 2024).

Can I do a trial day?

Each of our coworking spaces offers a free trial day. This allows you to try out the environment and coworking with us without obligation. Book your free trial day here.

As a coworker, can I also use other spaces?

Each of our coworking spaces If you rent a dedicated coworking space with us, you can also use all other spaces, subject to availability. This applies not only to your workspace but also to the use of meeting rooms. Drinks are available at the usual coworking member price.offers a free trial day. How do I book an event/workshop space for myself?

To book a workshop, meeting, or seminar room, please contact info@aula.space with information about your desired location, number of participants, preferred date, and catering requirements. We will get back to you as soon as possible.

What are the opening hours of my space?

You can find the opening hours separately on the individual location pages . As a coworking resident, you have unrestricted 24/7 access.

Are there parking spaces at my space?

Some coworking spaces include parking. Please check availability on the respective location page . However, since the occupancy of the spaces varies from day to day, there may not always be a designated parking space available. If you regularly come by car, please contact us at info@aula.space.

Events

What areas are available for events?

We offer spaces for workshops, conferences, seminars, and almost any type of event. These spaces range in size from 18 to 128 m². Depending on the seating arrangement, you can host your event for up to 80 people. For larger events, corridors or cafés can be used, and in the summer, outdoor areas are available for up to 300 people. Let’s talk about it and find a solution: info@aula.space.

How much lead time do I need for a booking?

The more specialized the event, the more lead time is needed. We’re happy to support you with the planning. Upon request, we’ll share your event in our network and on our social media channels. We can also connect you with key influencers. To be on the safe side, we recommend booking a workshop at least three weeks in advance and a larger event more than two months beforehand. We look forward to your inquiry at bookings@aula.space.

What about parking?

For events, we have dedicated parking spaces available at some locations, and inexpensive parking options are usually available nearby. You can find more information on the location page of your chosen venue. Our spaces are also easily accessible by public transport, bicycle, and scooter.

Can I book catering as an add-on?

For smaller catering needs (baked goods, rolls, coffee, and drinks), our staff is always available. For larger events, we’re happy to arrange hot meals (from finger food to five-course menus) through our catering partners. We’re grill masters ourselves (in the summer)! What amenities do the rooms have?

Our meeting and seminar rooms are each equipped with a full HD projector (connections: VGA, DVI, HDMI – standard & mini/micro, Thunderbolt for Apple devices), flip charts, pinboards, and presentation materials. Optionally, sound systems (including microphone, amplifier, mixing console, and laptop/smartphone connection) can also be booked.
